Job Title: Learning Support Assistant
Learning Support Assistant – MLD & ADHD – Primary – Tower Hamlets

Axcis are working closely with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Tower Hamlets seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to support KS2 pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and ADHD. The school prides itself on its warm atmosphere, supportive staff culture and strong community relationships.
Located moments from several Tube, DLR and bus routes, it’s an ideal commute from anywhere in East London.
In this role, you will be:
• Supporting pupils who are working below age-related expectations in English, maths and problem-solving.
• Encouraging focus, motivation and regulation through positive reinforcement and structured support.
• Delivering short intervention sessions for literacy or numeracy under teacher guidance.
• Helping pupils develop resilience, confidence and independence across the school day.
• Working with the SENCO to track progress and adjust strategies where needed.
What we’re looking for:
• Experience supporting MLD, ADHD or additional learning needs.
• Patience, kindness and an ability to build strong rapport with pupils.
• Someone proactive, reliable and enthusiastic about pupil progress.
• A real passion for inclusive primary education.
