Pay: From £13.50 per hour (dependent on experience)
Axcis Education is currently recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic learning support assistant to work within primary school settings. This is a rewarding role supporting children aged 4–11, including pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
The ideal candidate will:
• Have previous experience working with children aged 4–11
• Have experience supporting pupils with SEND
• Be patient, positive, and proactive with a willingness to learn
• Demonstrate a strong, caring, and supportive attitude
• Be reliable and committed to working Monday to Friday
We are also happy to consider applicants from a care background, provided they are keen to learn and develop within an education setting.
Essential requirements:
• Enhanced Child and Adult DBS registered on the Update Service
• Ability to work effectively as part of a school team
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and wellbeing
