Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant (SEND) to join our dynamic team in Wandsworth, London. This role involves providing essential support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, ensuring they have access to a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist teachers in delivering tailored educational strategies and programs for students with diverse needs.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to facilitate learning and engagement.
• Foster a positive and encouraging environment that promotes student independence and self-esteem.
• Collaborate with educators and specialists to track student progress and adapt learning approaches as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of student assessments and contributions to their Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
• Uphold the school's values and commitment to inclusivity while adhering to safeguarding protocols.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, particularly with SEND students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A relevant qualification in education or support for special needs is an advantage.
