Job Title: Level 2 Teaching Assistant - Special Needs School
Axcis Education is recruiting a passionate and skilled Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a vibrant secondary special school located in Sale. This school is dedicated to providing exceptional support for students with special educational needs, and they are looking for a candidate with a Level 2 qualification and experience in the following areas: - Supporting students with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) and complex health needs - Working with students with severe learning difficulties (SLD) and autism - Assisting students with complex sensory and behavioural needs This is a full time and a long term opportunity, with a possibility of a permanent contract for the right person. This role involves working closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure each student receives the individualised attention and care they need to thrive. The ideal candidate will have experience in a special needs setting, a strong understanding of diverse learning needs, and the ability to adapt support methods to suit each student. The school provides a nurturing and inclusive environment, where every staff member plays a key role in helping students reach their full potential, both academically and personally. You will be involved in providing personal care, supporting communication and sensory processing needs, and contributing to an environment where students feel safe, valued, and supported.
