Job Title: Level 3 Support Assistant, Full-Time, Complex Needs Resource hub
Axcis Education is supporting the SENDCo of a mainstream Primary school in the Lozells area of Birmingham. The SENDCo manages the resource of hub the school which specializes in supporting young children with complex needs, the hub can accommodates 8-10 children at any time. The SENDCo currently has a vacancy for Level 3 qualified support assistant within the resource hub. The perfect candidate will not only hold a level 3 qualification in a relatable field but also have prior experience in working with individuals with complex special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). You will work on a 1:1 or small group (2-3) basis with specific children. The children within the resource hub have Complex SEND needs, including, delayed speech, language and communication and sensory dysregulation. Due to these needs they can also display challenging behaviour from the frustrations of not understanding the world around them but even more so, the world not understanding them.
