Job Title: Part Time Teaching Assistant
SEND Learning Support Assistant – Part-Time (College, Feltham) – September Start
We are seeking a confident and competent SEND Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming college setting in Feltham from September. This is a part-time role, working 3–4 days per week, 9:00am–4:00pm.
The role involves supporting students with Special Educational Needs across a range of academic subjects, with a particular focus on Maths and English. You will work closely with learners to help them access the curriculum, build confidence, and develop independent learning skills.
Details:
• Location: Feltham (College setting)
• Hours: 9:00am–4:00pm
• Days: 3–4 days per week (part-time)
• Pay: £14.25 per hour (PAYE), starting rate
• Start: September
We are looking for someone who is confident supporting learners in a classroom environment and comfortable assisting with core academic subjects. Strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to build positive relationships with young people are essential.
Previous experience working with SEND is preferred, whether in a professional setting or through personal experience supporting others, though not essential for the right candidate with a strong willingness to learn.
