Job Title: Part-time Youth Support Worker
Axcis Education is excited to be working with a truly inspiring college in Radstock that puts students’ well-being and happiness first. They’re now looking for kind and caring people to support young learners with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD). If you’re passionate about helping others, this could be the perfect role for you!
What makes this college so special?
This place is full of life and opportunity! From a state-of-the-art animal care unit (with exotic animals, aquatics, rodents, and more!) to workshops in carpentry, motor mechanics, and even stone masonry, it’s easy to see why students love coming here. Classes are small, with around seven students and a great team of staff, so you’ll never feel on your own.
We need a caring and reliable person to help students stay on track, feel supported, and enjoy their learning. No need to worry if you’ve never dismantled a car engine or handled exotic pets—your role is all about being a positive presence and helping students engage and thrive.
Start date: ASAP with a chance to become permanent after a settling-in period
Days: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays
Hours: 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
Pay: £83.40 per day
Free parking
Radstock can be tricky to get to without a car, so driving is recommended unless you live locally.
We’re looking for friendly, patient, and supportive people. Experience is lovely, but a big heart and a willingness to learn matter most!
If you are interested, please get in touch ASAP. We can’t wait to hear from you!
