Location: Wandsworth, London
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 3:30pm
Pay-: £90-£95 a day
Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Early Years Educator to join our team at a leading childcare facility located in the heart of Wandsworth, London. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a high standard of learning, development, and care for children aged 0-5 years.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement a stimulating and educational early years curriculum that meets the EYFS standards.
• Monitor and assess children's progress, ensuring that activities support their development and learning goals.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment that fosters the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of each child.
• Engage with children to develop their language, literacy, and numeracy skills, while also promoting their independence and self-confidence.
• Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Prepare educational materials and resources that inspire creative and critical thinking.
• Conduct regular observations and record-keeping to track children's individual development and provide feedback to parents and caregivers.
• Adhere to the highest standards of safeguarding and health and safety practices.
Requirements:
• A recognised Early Years qualification (Level 3 or equivalent).
• Experience in an early years educational setting.
• Knowledge of EYFS and child development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.
