Job Title: Secondary Teaching Assistant – ADHD Support
Secondary School | Trafford/Greater Manchester
Monday–Friday | 8:30am – 3:30pm | full-time
Axcis is seeking an experienced teaching assistant to work 1:1 with a Year 9 student with ADHD in a mainstream secondary school. This is a highly focused support role, and experience with behaviour management and emotional regulation is essential.
Key Requirements – Non-Negotiable:
#Proven experience supporting students with ADHD and behavioural needs
#Strong understanding of emotional regulation strategies
#Confident managing challenging behaviour calmly and consistently
#Ability to build positive, respectful relationships with students and staff
#Able to keep a student on task and engaged throughout the school day
#Must be available 8:30am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday, full-time
#Hold a DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one
