Location: Ealing, Southall
Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm
Pay Rate: £95 per day
Commitment: Full Term
Axcis Education is looking for a dedicated and experienced SEN teaching assistant to join a mainstream primary school in Southall. This full-time role will see you supporting children across a range of age groups, from Reception through to Year 6, in what promises to be an exciting and varied day-to-day environment. The ideal candidate must engage with the children have had experience working with EHCP's.
Key Responsibilities:
-Work with pupils who have a range of Special Educational Needs, including ADHD and non-verbal ASD.
-Assist with personal care for younger children, including nappy changing where needed.
-Adapt to different settings and year groups throughout the day, engaging with pupils and supporting their learning and development.
Requirements:
-UK Experience supporting children with SEN, particularly those with Autism and communication difficulties.
-An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is essential.
-Commitment to full-time work for the duration of the term.
