SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School
Location: Bath, BA1
Hours: 8:30am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Pay: £14.25 per hour
Working pattern: Full-time and part-time available
Make a real difference to a child's school day as a SEN Teaching Assistant in a Bath primary school.
We are working with schools looking for patient, enthusiastic and reliable support staff to work with pupils who have additional learning needs.
You may work with children who have autism, ADHD, communication difficulties, learning difficulties or social and emotional needs.
Your role will include
• Supporting pupils individually and in small groups
• Helping children access classroom learning
• Supporting literacy, numeracy and other activities
• Encouraging confidence and independence
• Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour
• Working alongside the class teacher and SEN team
The ideal candidate
We're looking for someone who is:
• Caring and patient
• Reliable and consistent
• Confident communicating with children
• Interested in supporting pupils with SEN
• Able to work as part of a wider school team
Previous experience is welcomed but not essential. Experience in care, childcare, youth work, sports, psychology or education could be highly relevant.
