Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We’re looking for a caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Plymouth. This Key Stage 1 role focuses on supporting pupils with SEN and SEMH needs — helping them feel understood, confident, and engaged.
What you’ll do:
• Support pupils with SEN and SEMH needs, tailoring learning to their strengths
• Work alongside teachers to adapt lessons and strategies
• Create a calm, supportive classroom where every child can flourish
• Encourage positive peer relationships and celebrate progress
• Take part in ongoing training, including trauma-informed approaches
Who we’re looking for:
• Experience with children (school or SEND setting preferred)
• Patient, empathetic, and resilient, with a commitment to wellbeing
• Good communicator and team player
• Level 2/3 Supporting Teaching & Learning qualification (desirable)
• Driving licence & vehicle (desirable)

Pay: £92–£96 per day | Hours: Mon–Fri 8:30–3:30 | Start: ASAP
