Salary: £95 per day
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with complex special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team in Ilford on a full-time basis.
In this role, you will be working with students who have a range of complex SEND needs, including autism, learning disabilities, and physical impairments. You will play a key part in helping them achieve their educational goals, providing both academic and emotional support. Personal care will also be required, so we are looking for someone who is patient, empathetic, and comfortable assisting with the day-to-day needs of students.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to students with complex SEND needs in both individual and group settings.
Assist with personal care as needed, ensuring students' dignity and well-being.
Collaborate with teachers and SENCO to adapt learning resources and strategies.
Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Requirements:
Previous experience working with children with SEND, particularly those with complex needs.
A caring and proactive approach, with the ability to handle personal care tasks.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Patience, resilience, and a genuine desire to support children's development.
