The successful candidate will be responsible for providing tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities within a classroom setting, working collaboratively with teachers to create a positive and effective learning environment. **Responsibilities:** - Assist in the delivery of personalised educational programs designed for individual students or small groups. - Support the emotional and social development of pupils, including those with behavioural, emotional, social, and special educational needs. - Employ a range of strategies to foster student engagement and encourage independence. - Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and contributing to the assessment process. - Develop and maintain a trusting, empathetic relationship with students, acting as a mentor and guide. - Liaise with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure consistency in the approach to the student's education and well-being. - Prepare classroom materials and contribute to the maintenance of a safe and organized learning environment. - Participate in professional development and training to continuously improve the effectiveness of support offered to students.
