We have both full-time and part-time Teaching Assistant jobs available, supporting children and young people aged 4 to 19 with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). SEND Teaching Assistant Role As a Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with a variety of additional needs, primarily working with students with: • Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) • Learning difficulties • Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) • Global Developmental Delay (GDD) • Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD) • Social, emotional and behavioural needs You will provide classroom support, help students engage with learning, promote independence, and build positive relationships. Some pupils may occasionally display behaviours that challenge, so patience, resilience, and a calm approach are essential. This role is particularly well suited to candidates from a care background, although previous experience working with children or young people is desirable rather than essential.
