This is a full-time, long-term position within a large, well-structured high school known for its strong leadership and supportive staff culture. About the Role: As a Cover Supervisor, you will be working closely with students who require additional support, ensuring they remain engaged with their learning during teacher absences. You will help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting the social, emotional, and academic development of the pupils. Requirements: • Must hold an Enhanced Child and Adult DBS registered on the Update Service • Previous professional or personal experience supporting children with SEND • A positive attitude, patience, and a willingness to learn • Strong communication and classroom management skills Experience in a school setting is desirable, but not essential – the school is happy to consider applicants with limited classroom experience who demonstrate the right approach and enthusiasm for working with SEND students.
