I am working with a secondary school in Taunton that is looking for a Teaching Assistant to start work in January. The role will involve working with the SENCO to provide an alternative learning environment for children to achieve their full potential. You will most likely be working in small groups or 1:1s, you will need to be able to motivate and encourage students to complete tasks. You will need to have experience or knowledge of working with children, ideally SEND children but this is not a necessity. Potentially from a care background or with personal experience. The school are on the look out for kind and bubbly personality that will be able to jump right into school life. The hours for this position are between 8:30am-3:30pm during term time.
