Pay: From £93-£96 per day
Axcis Education are currently recruiting for a teaching assistant to join a small, welcoming and well-resourced primary school. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children and wants to make a real difference to their educational and personal development.

About the Role
The successful teaching assistant will provide support to pupils both academically and personally, helping them to feel safe, confident and able to engage with their learning.
This role would be particularly well suited to someone with a care background, as the ability to understand and respond sensitively to a learner's individual needs is highly valued. You will need to be patient, compassionate and able to build positive relationships with children.
The school is happy to consider applicants with limited classroom experience, provided you have the right attitude, a willingness to learn and a genuine desire to support children.
The Ideal Candidate
• Experience working with children, young people or vulnerable individuals is desirable.
• A background in care, support work or a similar setting would be particularly beneficial.
• A patient, empathetic and nurturing approach.
• The ability to recognise and respond sensitively to a child's personal and academic needs.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Reliable, adaptable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• A genuine passion for helping children reach their potential.
• Must have both Child and Adult DBS on the Update Service.
