SEN Primary Teacher - ARP Location: Dagenham Job Type: Full-Time Hours: 08:30 AM to 4:00 PM Start: ASAP Axcis are seeking for a primary teacher to join a mainstream primary school’s Autism Provision Unit in Dagenham.We are seeking a dedicated professional to create a vibrant and supportive learning environment for our students. The ARP is designed for children with ASD, SLCN and MLD 4 – 11 years old. Each class has around 6 children. The school are keen to have teachers who have had previous experience working in a special needs environment. Requirements: -Qualification: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. -Communication: Use of various visual and communication aids as well as PECS and Makaton -Experience: Proven experience working with children with autism in a primary school setting. -Skills: Strong understanding of autism and effective teaching strategies for students with special educational needs. -Attributes: Patient, proactive, and excellent at building positive relationships. -Need Enhanced DBS on the update service. This role will be starting ASAP and will require you to work fulltime, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM.
