BSL Trained Teaching Assistants with Axcis will: • Build good relationships with students. • Participate in training and professional development related Special Education Needs (SEN) • Follow the direction of the class teacher. • Adapt resources for hearing impaired students • Support students knowledge of BSL • Explore best practices in relation to BSL • Create resources to support students with learning. • Make reasonable adjustments to support students. • Provide 1:1 or group support to identified students, with class teacher input.
