Classroom Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant (Primary & Secondary)
Location: Various primary and secondary schools across [insert area, e.g. Manchester and surrounding areas]
Start Date: September 2025
Pay: £90 – £110 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities)
Axcis Education are working closely with a range of primary and secondary schools in the local area who require experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants / Learning Support Assistants to join their teams.
This is a fantastic opportunity for dedicated support staff who are passionate about helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and thrive both inside and outside of the classroom.
The Role
- As a Classroom TA/LSA, you will be deployed across the service to:
- Support and engage pupils across different year groups, many of whom have significant barriers to learning.
- Provide tailored in-class support to ensure pupils are able to access the curriculum and develop essential skills.
- Assist with the supervision and facilitation of sporting, outward bound, and enrichment activities to help build pupils’ confidence and social development.
- Promote a positive learning culture, encouraging pupil progress, well-being, and resilience.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience of working in an educational setting, supporting pupils (essential).
- A proactive, resilient, and flexible approach to supporting learners.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
- A genuine commitment to promoting pupil achievement and well-being.
- Experience supporting outward bound activities or learning outside of the classroom (desirable).
