Job Title: Teaching Assistant – Primary School Location: LS28 Salary: From £89 per day Contract Type: Agency Start Date: Immediate Do you have a passion for supporting children with additional needs? Axcis Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated teaching assistant to join a friendly and inclusive primary school. This role involves working with children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), helping them to thrive both academically and socially. Key Responsibilities: • Supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social/emotional challenges • Working 1:1 or in small groups to deliver tailored learning support • Assisting the class teacher with adapting resources and managing behaviour • Helping to create a positive, nurturing learning environment for all pupils Candidate Requirements: • Previous experience working with children with SEND (in a school or similar set-ting) • A valid enhanced child and adult DBS registered on the update service – this is essential • A patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach to learning support • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team Why Work with Axcis Education? • Competitive daily pay starting from £89 per day • A dedicated consultant to support you throughout your placement • Opportunities for long-term and permanent roles Axcis Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
