Job Title: Early Years SEND Teaching Assistant
A thriving primary school in Haringey (N17) is looking for a skilled Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team and support pupils in the sensory pathway intervention room. This is a full-time role (Monday–Friday, 8:30–4:00) starting ASAP – ideally from next Monday.
The role:
You’ll be based in the school’s sensory pathway intervention room, supporting children with a range of special educational needs. The work is hands-on, varied, and hugely rewarding — you’ll help children develop their communication, independence, and sensory engagement, working closely with teachers and therapists.
The ideal candidate will:
Have experience in Early Years with children with SEN (ideally Autism, communication needs or sensory needs)
Be confident in supporting non/pre-verbal pupils
Bring patience, creativity, and resilience to the role
Be available to start immediately and work full-time
Details:
Location: Haringey (N17)
Hours: 8:30–4:00, Monday–Friday
Pay: From £89/day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, long-term, ASAP start
