Support: Named student with low-level additional needs
We are looking for a proactive and supportive Learning Support Assistant to work closely with a named student in KS3 or KS4.
The student has low-level additional needs and requires an LSA/TA who can provide appropriate support and encouragement throughout the school day.
The successful candidate will:
Provide tailored support to the named student in the classroom
Prompt and encourage the student when needed
Help the student remain focused and engaged with their learning
Encourage independence and confidence
Use initiative to recognise when support is required
Support the student without completing tasks or work on their behalf
Work collaboratively with teachers and wider school staff
The ideal candidate will be patient, proactive and confident, with a good understanding of how to support students while promoting independence rather than dependence.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced TA/LSA looking to make a positive difference to a student's education and development.
