About the Role
We are working with a specialist SEND college in Bromley that supports young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and complex needs. The college is seeking a caring, patient, and proactive Life Skills Learning Support Assistant to start in September.
This role focuses on helping students develop essential life skills, build independence, and increase confidence — both in the classroom and through practical, real-world activities. You will work closely with teaching staff, therapists, and pastoral teams to deliver personalised learning programmes tailored to each student’s needs.
Key Responsibilities
Support students with ASD and complex needs in developing life skills such as communication, daily routines, cooking, travel training, and social interaction.
Assist with personalised learning programmes and adapt activities to meet individual needs.
Provide emotional support and encourage positive behaviour and engagement.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure consistent, high-quality support.
Help create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all learners.
About You
