Teaching Assistant – Reception Class (Full-Time) Start: As soon as possible | Pay: £90–£95 per day Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for your next rewarding role in a supportive and welcoming school environment? A wonderful primary school is seeking a dedicated full-time Teaching Assistant to join their Reception team, starting as soon as possible. This Reception Teaching Assistant position is varied and engaging, with opportunities to work both inside and outside the classroom. From supporting focused phonics sessions to helping children explore their environment through play-based activities, no two days will be the same. You will work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging learning experiences, while also offering support to individual pupils and small groups to ensure every child can thrive. The school is particularly keen to attract candidates who already have strong experience supporting children in Early Years or Key Stage 1. A good understanding of the EYFS framework will be highly beneficial, as will the ability to adapt quickly to the differing needs of young learners. Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm are essential qualities, along with the ability to build warm, positive relationships with both children and staff.
