Axcis Education are working closely with a great school in Bath. We are seeking school workers. We are looking for enthusiastic and compassionate Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming and dedicated team in a special school for primary-aged pupils with a wide range of additional learning needs. This school provides a nurturing, inclusive environment for children with varying abilities and challenges, including autism, speech and language difficulties, social and emotional needs, and other learning barriers. Every day is different, and every pupil is supported to achieve their potential through creative, tailored learning approaches. We have both long-term and short-term placements available, making this a great opportunity for individuals seeking regular work or those wanting to gain more experience in a rewarding educational setting. We are seeking Teaching Assistants who are: Creative and able to think of engaging ways to support learning Empathetic, patient, and understanding of diverse needs Supportive team players who can work closely with teachers and other staff Reliable, committed, and passionate about making a difference in children’s lives What the role involves: Supporting pupils with their learning and personal development both in class and during activities Adapting learning resources and activities to meet individual needs Providing emotional support and encouragement to help children thrive Assisting teachers with planning, preparation, and classroom management Helping to create a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment Experience in SEND or education is desirable but not essential – the most important qualities are enthusiasm, compassion, and a genuine desire to support children.
