This is a full-time opportunity, to support students with additional learning needs and help them thrive academically and personally. As an LSA, you will work alongside teaching staff to deliver tailored support across a variety of subjects. You will assist with adapting learning resources, encouraging classroom engagement, and fostering greater independence and confidence among students. What we’re looking for: We are keen to hear from candidates who have prior experience in secondary school environments and a good understanding of supporting students with Special Educational Needs. A calm, adaptable attitude and strong communication skills are essential. Key Duties: Provide targeted support for students with additional needs within the classroom. Assist teachers by differentiating lesson content to meet individual learning styles. Deliver one-to-one or small group interventions when required. Promote a positive learning environment, boosting students' confidence and independence. Collaborate closely with class teachers and the SEN department to support individual learning plans. Requirements: Experience supporting students in a secondary school setting is preferred. Knowledge of SEN strategies and best practices. A patient, encouraging, and flexible approach. An enhanced DBS certificate on the update service, or willingness to obtain one.
