Job Title: SEND Teacher, Mainstream Resource Hub
Axcis Education are supporting a mainstream primary school in Winson Green who are looking for a qualified teacher (with QTS) for their SEND Resource Hub. As the teacher of the hub you will be responsible for planning, preparation of activities and resources and ongoing assessment of the pupils within the class and the leadership of the team of TAs based within the hub. The school is a friendly and welcoming setting and caters for a range of special educational needs, including autism and MLD. The school promotes learning through a range of methods and activities are planned according to the level the child is working at. The class within the hub is mainly made up of children within reception and KS1. This is a full-time role, working hours are 8am-4pm, Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will be a qualified teacher (with QTS) who is comfortable working to the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and National Curriculum, you will also need previous experience in working within SEND settings, such as a special school, SEND hub or alternative provision.
