Job Title: SEND Teacher needed - SLD
Teacher – SLD Secondary (QTS) | Uxbridge (UB8) | September 2025 Start
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Qualified Teacher (QTS) to join a welcoming secondary school in Uxbridge this September. You’ll be leading a small, close-knit class of 7 learners with Severe Learning Difficulties.
Location: Uxbridge (UB8)
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: Pay to Scale
What You’ll Do:
- Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
- Foster a safe, inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
- Collaborate closely with support staff, therapists, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for learners.
- Use a range of strategies to support communication, emotional regulation, and life skills.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
- Experience or strong interest in working with students with SLD.
- Patience, creativity, and a commitment to inclusive education.
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive, proactive approach.
