Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant
We are proud to be working in partnership with an outstanding specialist school in Tilehurst, near Reading, who are seeking a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team.
This school provides education for pupils aged 3–19 with a wide range of complex special educational needs, including profound, severe and moderate learning difficulties. Many pupils also have additional diagnoses such as ASD, ADHD, sensory impairments or physical disabilities. With small class sizes, high staff ratios and a personalised approach, this is a fantastic setting for both pupils and staff to thrive.

• Supporting pupils with a wide variety of learning needs, helping them access a broad and engaging curriculum.
• Working alongside teachers and other professionals to deliver personalised learning programmes.
• Encouraging independence, emotional regulation and social development through patience, care and creativity.

What we’re looking for:
• Someone passionate about working with children and young people with SEND.
• A caring and resilient individual who enjoys being part of a collaborative team.
• Previous experience in a SEND or care setting is desirable, but not essential – we will provide training for the right candidate.
Contract: Full-time, term-time only
Location: Tilehurst, near Reading
Salary: From £89 a day
