Primary School | L30 Area
September Start | Full-Time | Monday to Friday | 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Do you have a passion for supporting children with additional needs to reach their full potential?
A warm and inclusive primary school in the L30 area is looking for a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team this September. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by supporting pupils across EYFS to KS2, many of whom have complex needs such as non-verbal communication, sensory processing challenges, and social-emotional difficulties.
About the Role
As part of the school’s dedicated SEN provision, you will play a key role in helping children succeed both in their learning and personal development. Each day, you’ll be helping pupils to grow in confidence, communication, and independence.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support
Supporting pupils with communication, emotional regulation, and learning activities
Encouraging independence, social interaction, and self-esteem
Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes
What We’re Looking For
Experience supporting children or young people with SEN (school or care settings)
Confidence working across age groups from EYFS to KS2
A DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply (support provided)
A calm, patient, and adaptable approach with a genuine passion for inclusive education
