Are you passionate about supporting young people in their education? Do you have experience working with students in a school setting? Axcis Education is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistants to support high school students.
As a teaching assistant, you’ll play a key role in helping students thrive in their learning environment. Responsibilities include:
• Supporting classroom activities and lesson delivery
• Providing one-to-one or small group support, including to students with additional needs
• Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting an inclusive, respectful atmosphere
• Supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional development
• Collaborating with teachers and external professionals as needed
What We’re Looking For:
• Experience working with secondary school-aged children
• A flexible, proactive, and patient attitude
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A genuine passion for supporting young people
• A relevant qualification is desirable but not essential
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
