Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Axcis are pleased to be working with mainstream settings in the Bury and Greater Manchester area. Are you an experienced teaching assistant able to apply your knowledge of ADHD, with a specific focus on building strong and purposeful relationships.
Pay Rate: £89-105 (dependent on experience)
Location: Bury/ Greater Manchester
Position: Teaching Assistant (ADHD specialism)
Contract Type: Full time/Part time/ Day to Day/ Long term
Start Date: ASAP
Experienced Teaching Assistants with Axcis will:
• Build strong and purposeful relationships with students.
• Use relevant data to monitor progress, set targets, and plan subsequent lessons.
• Demonstrate consistently the positive attitudes, values and behaviour which are expected of pupils.
• Support students with ADHD to overcome social and academic barriers.
• Support the class teacher in delivery of the curriculum.
• Make reasonable adjustments to ensure students thrive in the setting.
• Provide 1:1 or group support to identified students.
About our schools:
• Are currently recruiting additional Teaching Assistants (ADHD specialism) in schools in Bury and surrounding areas.
• Are predominantly mainstream primary and secondary schools. However, we do have roles available in other settings for the right candidate.
• Are supporting referrals for Educational Health & Care Plans (EHCP)
