We are seeking a motivated and passionate Teaching Assistant (KS4) to join a welcoming secondary school in Horwich, Bolton. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is eager to support young people in achieving their academic goals while gaining valuable school-based experience.
As a Teaching Assistant (KS4), you will work closely with teaching staff to support pupils in lessons, both in small groups and on a one-to-one basis. You’ll play a key role in encouraging positive learning behaviours and helping students to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide classroom support to pupils in KS4 across a range of subjects
Assist teachers with planning and delivery of engaging lessons
Support individual students or small groups to ensure progress
Help to create an inclusive, supportive, and safe learning environment

Requirements:
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant (KS4) or within a secondary school setting is desirable
Strong communication and organisational skills

Ability to work well within a team and show initiative
Relevant qualifications or training would be an advantage but are not essential
