Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Teaching Assistants Needed – Stockport Primary Schools
Location: Stockport
Pay: £90.00 - £100.00 (PAYE)
Start Date: ASAP
Axcis Education is seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our successful team, supporting local primary schools in Stockport.
This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone with experience working with children, particularly those with additional needs, to make a real difference in their learning and development.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing general classroom support to teachers.
- Supporting individual pupils on a 1:1 basis.
- Leading or assisting with group work activities.
- Supporting with first aid and intimate care when required.
- Assisting with assessment and admin tasks.
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have experience or prior knowledge of supporting children with additional needs.
- Demonstrate good behaviour management skills.
- Understand how to effectively support the development of a child.
- Bring enthusiasm, flexibility, and a positive attitude to their role.
- Communicate effectively with staff, pupils, and parents.
- Are strong team players who can work collaboratively.
