Job Title: Two-To-One SEN Teaching Assistant
Axcis Education is working with a welcoming primary school in Camden (NW5) who are looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 2:1 support for a pupil with additional needs.
This is a full-time role (Monday–Friday, 8:30–4:30) to start as soon as possible.
The role involves:
Working closely with another TA to provide consistent 2:1 support
Helping a pupil with Autism and associated needs to engage with lessons and routines
Using strategies to support communication, regulation, and independence
Liaising with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored support
Providing personal care when required
The ideal candidate will:
Have previous experience supporting pupils with SEN in a primary setting
Be confident working with non-verbal communication strategies
Remain calm and positive when faced with challenging behaviour
Be proactive and able to use their initiative
Pay: From £89 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, long-term
