Job Title: Child Support Worker
Axcis Education are looking for Teaching Assistants with experience in supporting children or young adults within health and social care settings to support pupils with very complex needs. If you have experience as a support worker working with people with learning and physical disabilities, undertaking personal care, manual handling, safeguarding and supporting people and would like to work in a school we would love to hear from you. Working in supply means you can quickly improve your skill set and work with groups of people that you might not have had the opportunity to work with before. We are looking for people in Exeter area.
We can help you to make the transition from an adult support worker to children and can offer you regular work. We get client requests for short and long term positions in mainstream, SEND schools, PRU's and alternative provisions and a lot of the work is 8:30-3:30pm weekdays.
Your professional consultant will be there to guide and support you through the process and a lot of our staff have worked within school settings or health and social care roles and understand the work you will be doing.
