Job Title: Expereinced SEND Teaching Assistant
SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School, Camden (NW5)
Full-Time | 8:30am – 4:30pm | Monday to Friday
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join the dedicated provision of a welcoming primary school in Camden (NW5). This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children with high needs and committed to making a positive impact every day.
The Role:
Providing tailored support to pupils with Autism (ASD) and complex learning needs.
Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviour in a positive, proactive manner.
Supporting students with personal care, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.
Working closely with class teachers, the SEN team, and external professionals.
Helping to create an inclusive and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
Requirements:
Previous experience working in a primary school SEN provision or specialist setting.
Experience supporting children with high needs, Autism (ASD), and challenging behaviour.
Willingness and ability to provide personal care.
A patient, resilient, and caring approach.
Availability to work full-time, Monday to Friday (8:30am – 4:30pm).
