Job Title: Learning Support Assistant
Learning Support Assistant (Autism Experience) – Secondary School, Tottenham (N17) Full-Time, Immediate Start We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our vibrant secondary school in Tottenham (N17). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs, particularly Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), to reach their full potential in an inclusive learning environment. The Role: Providing 1:1 and small group support to students with Autism within the classroom. Assisting with learning activities and adapting resources to meet individual needs. Supporting students with communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation. Working closely with teachers, SENCO, and other staff to ensure progress and inclusion. Encouraging independence and promoting a positive learning experience. Requirements: Proven experience working as an LSA or Teaching Assistant in a secondary school setting. Strong background in supporting students with Autism (ASC). Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff. A patient, flexible, and empathetic approach.
