Axcis Education is recruiting a resilient and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a brand-new SEMH school in Heywood. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference supporting young people with challenging behaviours, ASC and SEMH needs across KS2–KS4.
The role:
Supporting students with social, emotional and mental health needs.
Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils.
Helping create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment.
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience working with challenging behaviours, ASC and SEMH.
Previous experience in a UK-based school setting.
A strong, resilient personality with excellent communication skills.
A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one).
