Job Title: Post 16 Teaching Assistant
Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who thrives in a hands-on, active environment? We’re looking for a dynamic and resilient Post-16 TA to support a unique group of young people in a role that’s far from classroom-bound. About the Role: This is a long-term role for the right candidate. The role includes a wide variety of off-site activities, such as: • Gardening and farming • Travel training • Work experience placements • General outdoor learning and life skills The Young People: You’ll be working with a diverse group of students, ranging from non-verbal learners to very able individuals. The ideal candidate will be: • Adaptable and proactive • Able to support a variety of needs • Willing to get stuck in with all activities • Calm, caring, and have a good sense of humour Requirements: • SEN experience is essential • Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons • Excellent communication and teamwork skills Why Join Us? • Supportive and welcoming team • Opportunities to engage in meaningful, practical education • Every day is different – no two days are the same! This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday, working term time only, weekends off! The daily rate of pay is £90 - £95 per dy.
