Start Date: Flexible – Autumn term or sooner

Are you a qualified Primary Teacher looking to make more impact — not more worksheets?
We’re supporting a primary school in Partington (M31) known for its inclusive, SEN-aware approach, particularly in upper Key Stage 2. They’re looking for a compassionate and confident teacher who can deliver high-quality lessons while responding to the emotional and behavioural needs of their pupils.
You’ll be part of a team supporting pupils in Year 5 and Year 6, many of whom have additional needs — including ADHD, Autism, SEMH and behavioural challenges. Working closely with the SENCo and TAs, you’ll help shape a learning environment where every child has the tools — and the relationships — they need to thrive.
What the role offers:
-Flexible working – full-time or part-time considered
- Focused teaching – not spread too thin across the school
- Regular access to after-school CPD, specifically tailored to support SEND practice and behaviour strategies
- Real collaboration – you’ll work as part of a wider SEND team, not in isolation
- Opportunity for longer-term or permanent placement for the right teacher
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is a qualified Primary Teacher (QTS)
- Has UK-based teaching experience – particularly in Key Stage 2
- Is confident in supporting pupils with ADHD, SEMH, Autism, and behaviour needs
- Brings calm, consistent behaviour management and emotional awareness into the classroom
- Values teamwork with the SENCo, TAs and pastoral staff
Is open to professional growth and attending CPD sessions after school to strengthen practice
This is a great fit for someone who wants to deepen their SEND expertise while teaching in a mainstream setting. You’ll be supported by a leadership team that understands that behaviour is communication — and that teaching isn’t one-size-fits-all.
