Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant
Axcis Education is delighted to be working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Havering, who are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Teaching Assistant to join their team from November. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children in their learning and development. The school has a strong, supportive ethos and prides itself on creating a nurturing environment where both staff and pupils thrive. The role will involve working on a one-to-one basis with a gentle and friendly Year 4 child who requires some additional support with their learning. The child has no behavioural challenges, so the focus of the role will be on providing patient, consistent academic support, helping to build their confidence and ensuring they can access the curriculum fully. This is a full-time position running for the academic year, so commitment and reliability are key. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm, making it an excellent opportunity for those looking to gain further experience in education within a consistent and rewarding role. The school is easily accessible, being within walking distance of Romford Station, and also offers on-site parking for those who prefer to drive. We are looking for someone who: • Has prior experience working with children (school-based experience is desirable but not essential). • Demonstrates patience, resilience, and a positive attitude. • Can build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents. • Is committed to making a genuine difference to the life of a child. If you are enthusiastic, reliable, and feel you have the right skills and experience for this role, we would love to hear from you.
