Job Title: Secondary Teaching Assistant
Secondary School Teaching Assistant Are you passionate about supporting young people and making a difference in their education? Axcis Education is currently seeking dedicated Secondary School Teaching Assistants to work in a range of local secondary schools we support. Role Overview: You will be providing classroom and one-to-one support to students aged 11–16, helping them to engage with their learning and reach their full potential. This may include working with students with additional needs such as Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, or other SEND requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Supporting students in lessons and assisting with classwork - Helping to manage behaviour and encourage positive engagement - Working closely with teachers and SENCOs to provide tailored support - Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment What We’re Looking For: - Experience working with young people (school, youth work, tutoring or similar) - A calm, patient, and proactive approach - Flexibility and willingness to work across different subjects - A genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs.
