Job Title: SEN Primary School Teaching Assistant, Bromsgrove
We are currently seeking a dedicated Primary school Teaching Assistant, to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Bromsgrove. About the Role: As a SEN teaching assistant, you’ll play a key role in helping pupils reach their full potential by providing tailored support both in and out of the classroom. You will work closely with teaching staff to enhance lesson delivery and provide 1:1 or small group assistance where needed. Location: Bromsgrove (B60) Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm Pay: From £89 per day (PAYE) depending on experience Start Date: Immediate Start Key Responsibilities: • Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN at a primary age • Assist in the implementation and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) • Help students develop their communication, social, and emotional skills • Support the teacher with classroom tasks, activities, and behaviour management • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils • Ensure the safety and welfare of the students at all times Requirements: • Experience working with children or young people or vulnerable adults with SEN (in any setting) • Background in care, support work, residential settings, or youth work welcome • Positive, patient, and flexible approach to supporting young people • Good communication and interpersonal skills • A valid DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one) If you are committed and ready to make a difference in a child’s academic and personal development, Apply Now!
