Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Pay: From £89 per day (PAYE) depending on experience

We are currently recruiting for a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Bromsgrove, supporting pupils with additional needs across a range of age groups. This is a long-term role, ideal for someone who is passionate about helping young people succeed in a school environment.
About the Role:
You’ll be working closely with students who require extra support due to special educational needs such as Autism, ADHD, or communication difficulties. Support will be provided both inside and outside the classroom, on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.
The school is open to applicants from different backgrounds – whether you’re a qualified nursery practitioner, care or support worker, or someone with transferable experience in SEN or youth support, this could be the perfect opportunity to step into an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide tailored support to pupils with special educational needs
• Work 1:1 and in small groups to help pupils engage with learning
• Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation
• Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and managing the classroom
• Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
• Experience working with children, young people or vulnerable individuals
• Backgrounds in care, support work, nurseries or youth services are welcomed
• Patient, calm and consistent approach to behaviour and communication
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• A valid DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
