Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Pay: From £89 per day (PAYE) depending on experience

We are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive SEN school in Bromsgrove, working with students aged 4–19 years old. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in care, support work or education, who is passionate about making a real difference in young people’s lives.
About the Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play an essential role in the daily support and development of students with a wide range of special educational needs, including Autism, ADHD, communication difficulties, and learning delays. You will work both in and out of the classroom to ensure pupils are fully supported in their learning, well-being, and personal development.
You will be part of a welcoming and experienced team, with ongoing guidance from teachers and SEN specialists. Training opportunities may also be available for candidates looking to grow within the role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN
• Assist in the implementation and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
• Help students develop their communication, social, and emotional skills
• Support the teacher with classroom tasks, activities, and behaviour management
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils
• Ensure the safety and welfare of the students at all times
Requirements:
• Experience working with children or young people or vulnerable adults with SEN (in any setting)
• Background in care, support work, residential settings, or youth work welcome
• Positive, patient, and flexible approach to supporting young people
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• A valid DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
