Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant

About the Role:
An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated teaching assistant to support a student with Speech, Language, and Communication Needs (SLCN) in a secondary school setting. The role involves implementing speech and language strategies to enhance the student's communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1 support to a student with SLCN.
• Implement speech and language strategies in collaboration with the Speech and Language Therapist.
• Support the student in accessing the curriculum.
• Monitor and record the student's progress.
Requirements:
• Experience working with students with SLCN.
• Knowledge of speech and language strategies.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with professionals.
