Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: SW15 Salary: £89- £95 per day (PAYE) Contract Type: Full-time, 8:45 AM – 4:45 PM (Monday to Friday) About the Role: We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with Autism at a welcoming primary school in Clapham Junction. This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping children with additional needs thrive academically and personally. You'll be working within a supportive team in a school known for its nurturing environment and thoughtfully designed sensory-friendly spaces that promote calm and focus. Key Responsibilities: • Provide tailored 1:1 support to a primary-aged pupil with Autism. • Collaborate with class teachers and SEN staff to deliver effective support plans. • Support emotional regulation, sensory needs, and classroom engagement. • Assist with personal care, manual handling, and feeding (where necessary) • Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
